Out of all of my accomplishments here on this blog, the ones I am most proud of is this post on creating Valentine Boxes for boys. Truly, born out of a desire to show the boys how they incorporate things they loved to create something functional and practical, was a worthy effort.
But, I have to admit, that as each Valentine Day approached, there was a momentary blip of trepidation — what could we come up with next?! But of course, I thought, we can always re-do from the year before — who wouldn’t want to create another Valentine Day basketball box? Or a robot? And yet, the boys were each determined to blaze a new trail — to go somewhere where no other brother had gone on Valentine’s Day…
