The Adventures of Jack and Jill: Chalk

If you started to follow those two kids around, you could have an adventure book, that includes, among other things, camping at sunset, picnics in their Eno, biking along the river, or cliff jumping.

When she saw this book, 101 Kids Activities That Are the Bestest, Funnest Ever!: The Entertainment Solution for Parents, Relatives & Babysitters!,  that had just arrived for a review, her eyes lit up.  The authors knew what they were doing when they wrote,  for all ages.

They decided on sidewalk chalk.

I’m not sure how sidewalk chalk beat out the bird zip line, or the straw balloons, or the plastic bag mazes, but this one fit the bill for an adventure-filled humdrum weekday night.

It’s great that 101 Kids Activities  includes modifications for different ages,

because these kids needed lots of hands-on help.

Those two are magnets when it comes to fun.
