The best part about the cozy breakfast room st the hotel is talking to the first timers and the veteran eclipse chasers.
I talked with a couple from New York, he’s an amateur astronomer, and their two young boys, and they are a bit worried about the heat.
The last eclipse they saw was on a ship in the Mediterranean.
Some people are heading to the zoo to watch. Which is my first choice– to watch the animals. But I love sitting with the first-timers because they usually ask the questions in too embarrassed to ask. Like, where are you going to watch? And we just follow them.
The best part is– no clouds.
