FYI, a Land ‘0 Lakes butter box is lurking beneath the black construction paper.
Now, I need to figure out a way to hang it. As you can see from this photo, I’m being overly optimistic again with the white tablecloth. Rainy Days demand that you do this for yourself.
I love parenting, marriage and homemaking advice from long ago. They make me smile and then give me perspective on the advice that I am reading today.
When I was a kid we had a book similar to this that we loved to get out and do crafts from. It was a lot of fun. Thanks for the memories.
cool. I need you to post everyday gal! 🙂
This is indeed very educational for the parents as well. Happy WW!
Looks like fun. Wish I could walk without pain in my pelvis. That would make this type of thing easier to do. I’m feeling guilty as I’ve parked my son in front of a movie. My daughter at least is off to a children’s museum with her school.
Creative!
Happy WW!
Looks like a great book and what a fun project! Well done…
Hope the sun shines down on you all for a few days in a row…
I love those old books! There crafts are timeless! That looks like a great one to make.
I bet it was a lot of fun to make that traffic light! Happy WW
That’s very impressive! Great job!
That is an AWESOME stop light.
Take a paper clip and partly unfurl it – stick part of through the box and bend it again, leaving a hook-y part at the top to hang it from.
My kids just emptied out of tissue boxes to make robots with them 😛 now I’m stuck at loose tissue with no place to keep them…LOL~
Pierce a hole where you’ve tape the top and thread a string with a knot?
Oh please oh please, throw us a bone…what are some of the tidbits from 1953?
That’s a great idea! Would hot glue hold a string to the top of that work of art? I love the book shot.
That looks nice..reminds me of 1976 Art Class …
I HAVE READ MANY ARTICLES ON WHERE VALENTINES ORIGINATED FROM…..BUT CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT YEAR AND BY WHOM THE VALENTINES BOX WAS CREATED? THANKS
