We needed a fire to burn all day long. 
We played in the Eno and wrapped ourselves inside and tried to do 360 flips.
We used the fire to make treats.
The canoe kept us entertained.
And for those of us who were brave enough to brace the water for the Polar Ski Club of the summer of 2014, we used the fire to keep us warm as soon as we were done.
