Messy, yes, but from the beautiful catalpa tree – one of my favorites. We had an old one on Delta, which I tended with utmost care, considering the pods a small price to pay for the lovely large leaves and sweet-smelling blooms. Here we make do with crepe myrtles and live oaks!
