So, I showed the 9 and 12-year-old boys the list that the two girls, 6 and 9 year-olds wrote, itemizing their perfect boyfriend. 
They studied it quite intently, and after giving it some thought, they decided that it just wasn’t going to happen. Here’s why:
- People who like animals are not clean.
- And that thing about being an artist — not going to happen. Because artist are not always nice. They can get very cranky — just look at Van Gogh.
- And besides, artists have weird last names.
- And, the worst part is that they called it rules. A guy like that doesn’t follow rules, he makes his own.
