Unbridled, raw enthusiasm — as seen through the eyes of a first grader. Here’s an entry from my son’s trip journal.
Oh, you need that translated? This is what he wrote:
“I was driving to Florida. (that’s the “fodu” part)
The hotel (“how tll”) is awesome (oscum).
I’m going to the beach (bech) too.”
Personally, I think he’s on to something with his shortened version of “oscum.” Perfectly suited to his future text messages.
Perfect for future texting, indeed. How smart you are to see it coming!
He prints very nicely. I have fun trying to decipher my daughter’s spelling too.
